About The Role

Join Versa Networks as a Staff Engineer – Java and play a key role in developing our cutting-edge NMS (Network Management System) Orchestration platform. Youll work alongside a high-performing engineering team to build scalable, feature-rich systems that power some of the most advanced SD-WAN and cloud security solutions in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop components for Versas NMS Orchestration platform.
• Collaborate with other engineers to architect and implement scalable, robust, and high-performance systems.
• Solve complex problems in the areas of network management, orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.
• Own features end-to-end — from design through deployment.
  
  

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Proficiency in multi-threaded programming and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• In-depth knowledge of EMS/NMS, FCAPS, and network management protocols like SNMP, NETCONF, and YANG.
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  
  

• Exposure to event-driven frameworks like Kafka or AMQP.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Swarm, or Kubernetes.
• Domain knowledge in SD-WAN, Cloud Security, or WLAN technologies.
