Sr ERP Backend Developer - ABAP

Job Description

Sr. ERP Backend Developer will be a pivotal technical expert within our innovative team, focused on driving the effectiveness of our SAP systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance ERP solutions, ensuring they align to our global business objectives. Takes charge of software development tasks such as design, programming, and testing, while also contributing to technical discussions about upgrades and code performance. You’ll work with diverse teams, utilizing your extensive knowledge of SAP ABAP and Fiori OData services to tackle complex problems. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and manage escalations will allow you to make a significant impact.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Lead the development, enhancement, and support of SAP ABAP solutions across various modules (O2C, FI, MM, Procurement).
• Design and implement end-to-end processes, ensuring effective integration with existing systems and leveraging SAP HANA capabilities.
• Drive code review best practices, performance tuning, and the migration of existing applications to SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to deliver robust technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Manage projects and coordinate a globally dispersed team, fostering communication and collaboration across different time zones.
• Facilitate technical design discussions, contribute to project planning, and oversee cutover strategies for system upgrades.
• Mentor team members, providing guidance on troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and actively participate in training sessions for users and team members.
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant science field
• 8-10 years of experience in delivering complex ERP solutions
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP including OOP, Reports, Enhancements, and IDOC Interfaces
• Experience with SAP modules: O2C, FI, MM, and Procurement
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with SAP ABAP on BTP
• Knowledge of implementation of S4HANA, Central Finance, Ariba, and SAP Hybris
• Experience in the Telecommunications sector
• Working knowledge of HANA-CDS views
