Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate Java Backend Engineer with strong backend development experience to help us design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power our clients’ transformation journeys.
Your Impact
- Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Java (JDK 1.8+) and Spring Boot
- Write clean, modular, and testable code with strong attention to performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to define technical architecture and deliver enterprise-grade solutions
- Apply deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design to solve real-world problems
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and performance optimization initiatives
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8+ and Spring/Spring Boot
- Solid grasp of OOPS concepts, design principles, and common design patterns
- Experience with exception handling, serialization/deserialization, and immutability
- Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Hands-on with JMS or similar messaging frameworks
- Working knowledge of logging frameworks like SLF4J, Logback, or Log4j
- Proficiency in multithreading, Java concurrency utilities, and memory management (JMM, GC tuning)
- Strong SQL skills (Joins, Group By, Aggregates)
- Experience with RDBMS and at least one NoSQL database (e.g., Cassandra, Couchbase, Hadoop)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito/PowerMock
- Familiar with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Version control experience with Git or SVN
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and DevOps culture
- Experience working in agile, distributed team environments
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and containerization is a plus
