Snowflake IICS CAI And CDI - Senior Associate

At PwC – as a Senior Developer, the candidate should have expertise in Snowflake, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) including Cloud Application Integration (CAI) and Cloud Data Integration (CDI), and Python. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data integration and transformation pipelines leveraging these technologies. You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable, and secure cloud data solutions aligning with business requirements.

Years of Experience: Candidates with 4-8 years of hands on experience

Position Requirements

Must Have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse including data modeling, optimization, and query tuning.
• Expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) especially Cloud Application Integration (CAI) and Cloud Data Integration (CDI) for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and integration tasks.
• Experience with API integration and middleware solutions using Informatica CAI.
• Proficient in Python programming to support automation, data processing, and advanced data transformations.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines integrating Snowflake with diverse sources via IICS.
• Strong SQL skills and expertise with Snowflake utilities like SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and managing data sharing.
• Experience developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion workflows, and data transformation within cloud platforms.
• Effective communication skills to work within Agile teams and engage with business and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design.
• Manage Snowflake data objects including tables, views, stages, streams, and tasks with focus on performance and cost optimization.
• Should be aware of deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns
• Should have experience with data security and data access controls and design
• Good to have AWS, Azure or GCP data storage and management technologies such as S3, Blob/ADLS and Google Cloud Storage
• Should have clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributed in preparing technical design documents and test plans
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

• Familiarity with data quality management and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps practices related to CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
• Certifications in Snowflake, Informatica IICS, or Python programming.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of additional data tools/technologies such as Python, Apache Spark and Kafka
