Position Summary – Senior Merchandiser, Product Development (Circular Knits)

• The Senior Merchandiser – Product Development for Circular Knits will play a strategic role in driving product excellence, speed, and value creation within the PVH+ plan.
• This position is responsible for end-to-end product development, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics, quality, cost targets, and sustainability objectives.
• By leveraging deep expertise in the circular knit category, the Senior Merchandiser will partner closely with PD, vendors, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, market-right collections on time.
  
  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES (Describe the major responsibilities and accountabilities of the position. Clearly and concisely indicate the end result(s) a person in the position

• Communication with vendors and business counter-parts for order execution
• Execute based on agreed product and service standards as well as cost objectives from the brand
• Price negotiation and cost expectation management
• Cost analysis management and problem shooting
• Manage production delivery against the plan
• Manage timeline from development to bulk shipment
• Ensure garment/product integrity, style and product execution
• Compile various reports
• Assist supervisor to deliver on KPIs

• Drive speed-to-market through effective calendar management and vendor collaboration.
• Advance sustainable and circular product initiatives in line with PVH+ commitments.

• Calendar adherence & on-time sample delivery.
• Product margin achievement & cost optimization.
• % of sustainable materials adoption in line with PVH+ targets.
• Vendor performance & compliance metrics.
• Collaboration effectiveness with PD, sourcing, and other stake holders.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience: (The required degrees, certifications or licenses & the number of years and type of experience required for this position.)

• University/Engineering degree with 3-5 years of related work experience; or post-secondary degree with minimum of 5-8 years of related work experience in apparel, material or technical background
• Should have experience in buying/trading office or manufacturing environment

• Apparel, material or technical background preferred
• Should have experience in manufacturing environment or similar previous working experience preferred
• Builds good working relationships; collaborates toward deadlines and deliverables
