In financial operations at PwC, you will specialise in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organisations. Your work will involve assessing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement solutions to streamline financial operations, enhance controls, and reduce costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services.
Key Responsibilities
As a team member, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific areas of focus include but are not limited to:
Understanding clients’ business processes and business requirements
Translating requirements into functional requirements and user stories
Build and maintain Anaplan models, apps based on model blueprint and support planning processes activities
Configure and maintain lists, modules, dashboards/New UX pages/Apps, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs
Transform and implement multi-dimensional structures to support business processes
Implement high quality models using best practices
Define and administer user roles in Anaplan
Provide hands-on training to end users on Anaplan models and processes
Desired Skills
Expert skills of Anaplan modeling
Ability to optimize the Anaplan Models for performance
Anaplan Certified Solution Architect
Strong expertise and deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling
Moderate skills of Excel spreadsheet modelling, macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts etc.
Ability to translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies.
Strong understanding of Data Integrations (preferred)
Strong client facing skills
Must be organized and detail oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment and manage a high workload
A strong business acumen in FP&A & Sales Planning for various industries is preferred
Knowledge Required
An ideal candidate for the Finance Transformation practice of PwC Advisory Acceleration Center should be proficient in one or more of the below:
Demonstrate working knowledge in any of the areas of finance, management accounting, reporting, shared services and / or knowledge in any sector
Have strong business acumen, with an ability to understand how business processes and decisions impact people and organization
Ability to conduct walkthroughs, workshops and meetings involving various business stakeholders
Good to have exposure to one of technology being ERPs / financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products such as PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Word etc.
Working knowledge of any Digital Tools and accelerators such Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, UiPath etc. would be an added advantage
Experience in manipulating data sets using SQL or another programming/scripting language.
Educational Background
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field

Past Experience: 3 - 5 years of prior relevant post - qualification work experience (exposure to minimum 2 - 3 end-to-end Anaplan implementations)
