This is the permanent role with one of the Pre-Seed FinTech Startup, A Valued client of HyrEzy.

🔍 About The Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (SDE 3) who can play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and scaling the platforms core backend systems. If you enjoy solving complex engineering problems in a fast-paced environment and want to drive the future of AI-led financial solutions, this role is for you.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-performance backend systems and services using Java.
• Define the technical direction and backend architecture, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Mentor and lead mid-level/junior engineers through design reviews, coding standards, and best practices.
• Ensure seamless integration across cloud-based services, databases, and microservices.
• Own delivery of large modules/features from planning to production.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering leads for roadmap planning.
  
  

• 7+ years of backend development experience with strong architectural and system design expertise.
• Expertise in Java, microservices, and distributed system architecture.
• Strong background in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Hands-on experience working in a cloud-native environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to lead technical discussions, evaluate trade-offs, and make scalable design decisions.
• Previous experience in a high-growth fintech startup or fast-paced product environment.
• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
