What You’ll Do

This position, located in Bangalore and focused on aerospace supply chain management, is responsible for planning and procuring products. The role requires close collaboration with the Network Scheduler, Network Planner, Customer Service, GCE CoE Procurement Team, Site quality team, Transition/Project Manager, Manufacturing Team, Production Team, and Stores Team at manufacturing sites to effectively address customer demand. Additionally, the incumbent will maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure efficient supply and production processes.

"Collaborate with the Network Scheduler/Planner to develop both short-term and long-term master production plans.

Execute the monthly SIOP – Step 3 process in coordination with the network scheduler.

Verify material status with the COE Procurement team and carry out the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

Release production work orders in a timely manner and ensure their prompt closure.

Coordinate with the quality team for final inspection, DPRV, and FAIR-IN processes to ensure on-time shipment to customers.

Maintain regular communication with the Customer Service (CS) team regarding open order status and actively collaborate with them.

Ensure customer On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets are consistently met.

Review product planning parameters and implement necessary adjustments to meet customer demand.

Ensure all product structures are accurately maintained in the ERP system.

Support transition projects and verify proper planning parameters in the system.

Review excess and obsolete inventory and take timely corrective actions.

Track daily production shortages and take both proactive and reactive measures to address material requirements.

Monitor and track OTD, quality, and schedule adherence monthly.

Oversee work order release and closure, taking appropriate action as required.

Ensure all procedures and work instructions are current and compliant.

Track Supply Chain Management (SCM) goals and initiate necessary actions to achieve targets.

Monitor ERP health and ensure all indicators remain optimal."

Qualifications

Bachelors in Engineering

Around 6-8 years of experience in Planning & procurement in Engg. Company preferably in Aerospace,Automobile industry

Skills

"Knowledge in production planning process

Knowledge in MPS process, Planning parameters, Forecast technique, Scheduling, Capacity & Inventory

Knowledge and working experience in Kinaxis, SAP, MFGPro/Orcale ERP system

Excellent knowledge in MS Excel tools

Knowledge in Power Bi, Power Point "

"Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)

Excellent interperson skills

Knowledge in 5S & 7QC tools

Digital mindset "

Should be Indian by Nationality
