Roles And Responsibilities

  • Leadership in Migration Projects:
    • Direct the technical execution of SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives. Experience on Brownfield and SDT projects is mandatory.
    • Ensure projects align with business objectives, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Building the HANA Migration Factory:
    • Develop strategies and frameworks for a standardized Migration Factory model.
    • Create processes and tools to boost efficiency and expertise in SAP S/4HANA migrations.
  • Client Engagement and Business Development:
    • Spearhead technical discussions during RFP responses and other business pursuits.
    • Communicate effectively with C-level stakeholders, translating complex technical details into strategic discussions.
  • Technical Innovation and Solution Development:
    • Lead the development of AI enabled cutting-edge solutions, tools, and accelerators for SAP S/4HANA migrations.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Manage and inspire a team of technical experts, fostering their professional growth.
    • Cultivate a collaborative work environment that balances workload and encourages team success.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Migration Brownfield and SDT.
    • Experience in building experiences developing operating models and delivery approaches for migration factories.
    • Recognized thought leadership in SAP migration strategies and solutions.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Capability to articulate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
  • Leadership Abilities:
    • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performance technical teams.

    • Identify skill gaps within project teams and implement training programs to address them.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and team members.
  • People Management
    • Build a team from the ground up including involvement in recruitment, selection and onboarding
    • Lead teams to create a vision, coach and motivate team members to support an atmosphere of trust, diverse perspectives, creativity, and innovation. Additionally, shape broader decisions on talent strategy and talent development
    • Build a culture in alignment with our values
    • Collaborate and partner across practices to collectively win and deliver complex engagements
Impact

High degree of independence and influence over the Center partners and staff in the execution of the SAP delivery strategy. This role has Firm wide impact with global implications. The Leader is expected to establish and execute the activities that enable the behaviors, structures, systems and competencies required for the Firm to build a successful operating model. This individual must be an enabler and mission led and have the viewpoint and experience to work with other leaders in our business in ensuring effective operation of the model.

The role of a SAP HANA Migration Director is pivotal in ensuring that a successful SAP HANA Migration CoE is established and operates to align with strategic objectives, and contribute to overall business success. The Director must possess a diverse set of skills, from leadership and communication to project management expertise and adaptability. By navigating challenges and implementing project management best practices, he/she can play a transformative role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization’s project management processes, ultimately contributing to its long-term success.

Professional And Educational Background

  • 20 years’ experience with strong background in Delivery Management, managing SAP Implementation programs
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in driving program strategy, planning, execution and delivery ensuring alignment with the organizational goals and objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Technology or related field.
  • SAP Certification in S/4 HANA Conversion would be desirable.

    • Strong stakeholder management and story-telling skills to communicate, facilitate and present cogently to, and across all levels of audiences within client organization, engagement teams, internal staff and management
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Data Analysis: Analyze project data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Problem-Solving: Address complex problems and make informed decisions.
  • Project Management Expertise:
    • Project Lifecycle Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies and project lifecycles.
    • Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing project risks.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Demonstrate proven experience in managing large scale SAP S/4 HANA Migration, Carve-Outs, Merger Projects.
    • Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools and technologies.
    • Data Management: Understanding of data governance and management principles.
  • Adaptability:
    • Appreciation and passion for design-thinking, critical problem solving and a curiosity for understanding the latest in business + technology
    • Agile Mindset: Adaptability to changing project requirements and business priorities.
