Job Overview
We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will take full ownership of quality and automation for specific applications or modules. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks while ensuring end-to-end quality of web and mobile applications.
Primary Skills
- Strong experience in UI and API automation for web and mobile apps using tools such as Selenium and Appium
- Proficient in Python with solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies, QA practices, and frameworks like Pytest or Unittest
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve blockers independently
- Self-driven, accountable, and capable of owning problems through to resolution
- Collaborative team player who can contribute ideas, provide constructive feedback, and drive improvements
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Test Management software, Bug Tracking tools, and other QA-related systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Take ownership of an application from a QA perspective and develop automation scripts for it
- Design, implement, and maintain robust automation within a Python-based test framework
- Analyze automation execution results in CI/CD environments and identify insights on software quality
- Gain a deep understanding of the product/application to proactively identify areas for quality improvements through automation
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, tools, and processes by proposing and developing new solutions
- Collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to resolve issues independently
- Work with US-based teams and attend occasional evening meetings
