About This Opportunity

Ericsson is a global leader in telecommunications and technology, driving innovation in 5G, cloud-native development, and digital transformation. We are a R&D unit in Ericsson, building world class cloud-native based AI/ML big-data analytics software for telecom operators. We are looking for a dedicated, competent, dynamic and proactive individual having end to end cloud native product development experience in Python and ML.

What You Will Do

• Backend Development: Architect and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using Python, ensuring performant and efficient systems.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of highly motivated developers, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior members, and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices, integrating them into the development process to enhance efficiency and quality.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 4–12 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Python & Django/Rest API/FLASK/FAST API.
• Experience with Micro Servies architecture.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming (Python).
• Experience with Data Scrubbing and ML Libraries – Pandas, NumPy.
• Kubernetes and cloud computing – AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker) and automated testing.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Databases – MySQL, NoSQL.
• Exposure to security best practices in system design and implementation.
• Knowledge about end-to-end tests using Robot framework and wire-mock.
