As a Software Development Engineer, you will be a working on critical deliverables for the packet core domain in Ericsson BEWS. Youll collaborate closely with stakeholders across geographies, design and develop complex features, & contribute to architectural decisions.

What you will do:

Design, develop and test various features for the Private 5G packet core domain.

Work with Product Owners to understand and fine-tune requirements.

Work closely with service team, including hardware engineers, software developers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.

Investigate and resolve complex issues, collaborating with support and operations teams.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Introduce innovative solutions to improve product performance and efficiency.

What you will bring:

4 - 9 years of experience in Packet Core domain

Experience with building highly scalable, and high-performance application using C++ or Golang.

Proven work experience in 4G/5G packet core technologies.

Experience with network security, SDN, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with Dockers, VMs, Kubernetes

Knowledge of Protocol Analysis, Wireshark, NetScout, or other similar tools

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Good written and verbal communication abilities

Preferred Skills:

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Kafka, Kubernetes, SQL DB, NoSql/In-memory DB.

Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)

Experience in Security domain, IPSec

Familiarity with scripting language such as Python.
