OutSystems Architect

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled OutSystems Architect with strong experience in cloud architecture using AWS to design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role combines deep OutSystems platform knowledge with robust AWS cloud expertise.

The ideal candidate brings a comprehensive understanding of low-code architecture, AWS cloud services. This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

Your role in our mission

• Architect enterprise-grade applications on the OutSystems platform with cloud-native patterns and integration into AWS services.
• Define and enforce architectural standards that support scalability, security, and performance across OutSystems and AWS ecosystems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product managers to translate business needs into cloud-based application architecture.
• Design and implement integrations with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, RDS, and Secrets Manager, in support of OutSystems applications.
• Lead cloud strategy discussions and ensure best practices for OutSystems deployments in AWS-hosted or hybrid environments.
• Conduct architectural reviews, technical assessments, and performance optimization for applications.
• Provide architectural governance, participate in DevSecOps planning, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline strategies using AWS tools and services.
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience developing with OutSystems, including architectural-level solution design.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS services.
• Deep expertise in OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and Lifetime.
• Proficiency in API architecture (REST/SOAP), relational databases (SQL), and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, and architecture documentation standards.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
• OutSystems certifications (e.g., OutSystems Professional Developer or Architecture Specialist).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools supporting OutSystems deployments.
• Background in building dashboards or analytics features to track recovery performance and metrics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD automation in OutSystems and AWS (e.g., CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Terraform).
