Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Exadata/RAC DBA to join our team as an IC3 or IC4 level professional. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in all areas of Oracle database technology, with a strong focus on Exadata and RAC. This role requires advanced level skills in RAC, ASM, performance tuning, HA, backup and recovery, and experience in database upgrades, migrations, installations, and patching.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for Oracle Exadata and RAC environments, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization
- Administer and maintain Exadata and RAC systems, including upgrades, migrations, and patching
- Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide proactive advice and support
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles to support the team and customers
- Participate in 24*7 shift rotations to provide support for Exadata systems
- Work closely with the team to resolve complex technical issues and provide high-quality solutions
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
- Mandatory:
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle RAC Database or Engineered systems Administration
- Oracle Data guard, RMAN Backup Recovery, Diagnostics, ASM (automatic Storage Manager)
- Strong experience in facilitating customer relationships with support and providing advice
- Willingness to work in night shifts/US timings
- Willingness to come to office
- Good-to-Have:
- Experience with Exadata, Golden Gate, OCI, ZDLRA, Performance Tuning
- BE, BTech, MCA, CA or equivalent preferred
