JD:

As an EMI/EMC Simulation Engineer, he/she will be part of EMI/EMC Simulation Engineering team responsible for Magnetostatics applications (3D Model cleanup, meshing of Battery and related bus bars, run magnetic field analysis simulations, analyze results, recommend counter measures, and generate reports)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Understanding 3D geometry
  • Manipulating 3D geometry (cleaning up and meshing)
  • Setting up analysis by applying appropriate boundary conditions (electric current in this case) and material properties (magnetic permeability, constant and varying)
  • Check for consistency of results
  • Analyze different what-if scenarios by executing different use cases and generating reports
  • Recommendations to ensure engineering decisions
  • Interacting with cross functional teams and clients
