The Global Real Estate, Facilities, and Security (REFS) team at Cloud Software Group is a cross-functional unit responsible for the companys global footprint across the Americas, APAC, EMEA, and India.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Management responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of employees and service providers, fostering teamwork to achieve shared goals. Develop team members skills and abilities through best practices in selection, training, assessment, and recognition, ensuring organizational sustainability and career growth.
- Cultivate a positive work environment by prioritizing customer focus in all facilities and workplace operations. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that the REFS team consistently provides positive and prompt response to requests from our employees, and that they are closing out service desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Align and promote best practices, policies, and procedures with business conduct, department goals, and integrity, while ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with CSG local management, vendor service organizations, property managers, and relevant local government officials.
- Financial responsibilities:
- Develop, prepare and maintain the India REFS Annual Operating (AOP) and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Plans. Follow through with monthly/quarterly reviews with the FPA team as required.
- Ensure compliance, business planning, budgetary control, capital planning, and oversight of daily management and operational activities, setting and exceeding specific goals for cost control/reduction, aligning with department/company objectives and initiatives.
- Expertise and hands-on experience in managing and optimizing SEZ and STPI | Non-STPI operations; including a thorough understanding of the regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and operational nuances specific to each category. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on debonding initiatives as necessary.
- Operational responsibilities:
- Manage a 127,000 square foot leased property supporting 900+employees, ensuring peak operational efficiency and quality
- Oversee building-related activities, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with regulatory health and safety standards.
- Inspect building structure to determine the need for repairs or renovations. Partner with the landlord regarding exterior and common areas of campus.
- Manage space in accordance with business unit needs and corporate policies. Prepare professional documents and presentations for management for review and alignment.
- Oversee and manage construction and move projects ensuring they are performed, on-budget, on-time, and with minimal interruption to employees.
- Manage essential facilities vendors and service agreements, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs, and alignment with corporate goals. Identify and propose corrective measures and process enhancements. Oversee supplier set up and payment processes with Procurement and Accounts Payable.
- Participate in the global RFP process for service contracts to balance performance and cost efficiency as it relates to India operations.
- Focus on energy management, including reviewing utility consumption, minimizing costs, and reporting on GHG emissions.
- Special projects as assigned by management.
Required Experience/Skills
- Ideally 8 - 10 years in Real Estate | Facilities | Workplace Management; 5 years in a leadership role in a high-touch, fast paced environment
- Top level skills in verbal and written communication, problem solving and project management.
- Promote effective communication to help build and manage relationships, working with team, clients and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in understanding management agreements and contract language.
- Experience in human resource and performance management.
- Commitment to safety excellence, demonstrate behaviors that drive safety.
- Understanding of the client’s objectives as well as knowledge of the real estate life cycle.
- Maintain technical proficiency, industry knowledge and communication skills to provide timely information on all site related issues.
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications, blueprints, and single line diagrams.
- Ability to develop and maintain a client focused, partnering and consultative approach.
- Ability to exercise formal and informal authority to influence a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, staff and third-party contractors.
- Excellent written and oral communications, problem-solving skills and strong customer orientation.
- Strong discipline of financial management including financial tracking, budgeting and forecasting.
- Proficient in Google Workspace; working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Must be able to work with a team of other professionals, including engineers, electricians, plumbers and other maintenance teams.
- Working knowledge of facility related Electrical and Mechanical systems.
- Ability to set priorities, plan, and coordinate work activities.
- Must be proactive, able to work independently with little oversight, and possess the ability to pivot quickly as priorities and direction change.
Education
- Degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent experience in an office environment overseeing a facility/workplace.
Nice-to-Haves
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Real Property Administrator (RPA), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) designations.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of the real estate life cycle
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
