Lead Analyst Principal Analyst Fundamental Equities Industrials Financial Research

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Fundamental Equities team within the Financial Research group, based in Bengaluru or Hyderabad or Gurugram. The team collaborates closely with front office groups to provide high-quality, in-depth research and analysis, supporting investment strategies, and decision-making processes.

WHAT YOULL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing coverage primarily, but not limited to, companies operating in the industrials space and pitching investment ideas. You will track news flows and sell-side research views, cover results, support detailed modelling of company financials, and prepare investment write-ups/presentations. You will also be expected to conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics (versus peer groups), sensitivity and scenario analysis. You will collaborate closely with front-office groups to iterate on financial models and investment theses. Additionally, you will be expected to attend management, sell-side, intermediary, and sector expert calls and maintain detailed industry trackers.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Basic qualifications:

• A degree in finance or equivalent (MBA/CFA/CA), and between 5 to 8 years of investment research experience
• Hands-on financial modeling and valuation skills
• Analytical prowess and keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Research experience in industrial sector in any geography
