Ericsson is inviting applications for the role of Field Expert. In this position, you will resolve complex technical maintenance issues at the site, support our service delivery management, liaise with the field for innovation initiatives, aid in data analytics, and align with the MS OHS framework to improve our service efficiency.
What you will do:
Execute and document complex corrective maintenance activities.
Provide support to field services technicians, both on-site and remotely.
Develop instructional videos for field services support library.
Supervise third-party personnel, attending on-site resolution of complex issues, and conducting safety audits.
Adhere to MS OHS framework and promote a culture of safety awareness and wellbeing among team members.
Serve as a team lead, providing safety and efficiency support for a small group of field technicians, including acting in management capacity during short and long-term absences of other team leaders.
Coordinate spare parts handling logistics - identify gaps in availability and recommend forecasting adjustments.
Interface with the NOC Problem Manager and initiate strategic improvements in field delivery.
Act as a subject matter expert and in-field prime for use case evaluation, development, and FOA analysis for ML Use Case Field Trials.
