Job Summary

A career in our Sourcing & Procurement Modernization practice offers the opportunity to help clients optimize procurement strategies through technology transformation and cost reduction initiatives. This role is ideal for a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys collaborating with senior stakeholders to create actionable insights.

As an Associate, you will work with the client and project teams to support global engagements to capture value and enable organizational transformation. This includes activities such as conducting analyses and developing insights, preparing excel models, analyzing large sets of data, capturing as-is processes, preparing work plans, and designing to-be processes.

In addition, you will also support the project lead, facilitate meetings to enable decision making, organize and prepare recommendations on client issues, and participate actively in new business development, thought leadership and firm building activities.

Additional Responsibilities

Team and Client Management

  • Lead procurement project delivery and ensure execution against KPIs
  • Act as a key liaison between stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement teams
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process efficiencies and procurement modernization
  • Lead client discussions and drive influence through actionable insights

S2P Transformation

  • Experience with GEP - Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform, as an implementer and administrator; ERP knowledge – SAP / PeopleSoft / ORACLE or others is preferred
  • Understanding of fundamental principles of GEP including spend and commodity taxonomies, requisitioning, PO generation, receiving and invoice processing
  • Experience with AP automation including eInvoicing, scanning and workflow, online tracking, reporting capabilities, electronic invoice user interfaces, supplier networks, etc.
  • Understanding of Sourcing and Contracts module including GEP Price books, Supplier module along with its Integration to ERP (SAP S/4 HANA, ORACLE etc.)
  • Ability to design the approval work flows in GEP transactional documents like PO’s, Service Confirmations and Invoices
  • Ability to configure, develop, and troubleshoot GEP RESTful APIs and flat file-based integrations for all master and transactional data between P2P platforms and backend systems
  • Ability to work with middleware tools Like GEP Click, IICS, SAP CI, SAP PO, Dell Boomi to implement middleware logic as part of the Integrations between GEP SMART/QUANTUM & ERP system
  • Ability to load the master data and transactional data using the GEP Bulk API’s and interface utility tool
  • Ability to develop solutions for clients using service-oriented architecture patterns to ensure master and transactional data are traveling successfully between systems
  • Ability to gather technical requirements and conduct sessions to design the integrations between P2P platforms and backend systems
  • Ability to take responsibility for all technical phases of an implementation project including architecture, design, development, test, customization, documentation and data migration solutions for business applications in the SaaS and other ERP systems
  • Ability to estimate the tasks and resources required to design, build, and test the integration design
  • Ability to design technical logic for solution development/enhancement
  • Ability to work with clients during the hypercare phase to resolve integration issues between GEP and end-to-end systems
  • Ability to provide expert advice to clients on integration API and flat file best practices and deliver efficient and simple integration design for easy maintenance of system post Go-Live

  • Emphasizing the ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members and also taking initiative to build relationships with client stakeholders
  • Communicating effectively (written and verbal) to various situations and audiences
  • Managing and conducting or overseeing quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data

Educational Background

Full-time masters degree/equivalent is a must. MBA in Operations, Strategy preferred
