We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Manager with hands-on experience in Node.js to lead and grow our talented engineering team. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions, driving innovation, and mentoring a team of engineers in designing and developing robust backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend systems using Node.js .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver on business objectives.
• Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Ensure project timelines are met and maintain a high standard of code quality.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues in backend systems.
• Participate in strategic planning to align technical goals with business objectives.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
  
  

• Mandate Skills: Backend Development Exp and People Management Exp along with Project management (Java or Node, AWS, Devops to some extent, End-to-End SDLC Exp).
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Software development experience with backend development using Node.js .
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e. g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, high-performance applications.
  
  

• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like React or Angular is a plus.
• Exposure to database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
