Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.
The Role
Engineer – Autonomous Simulation will Drive innovation in Simulating and deploying Autonomous equipments for Facilities. Execute simulation to deployment of material handling and assembly operations equipments that function autonomously in factories.
What Youll Do
- Focus on Simulation, testing and Deployment of Models for vision, manipulators and navigation of AMR and autonomous vehicles
- Involves development and deployment of AMR’s, Physical AI devices and Autonomous vehicles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems in the Autonomous vehicles for facilities and industrial application
- Evaluate, validate, and benchmark hardware and software performance using appropriate metrics.
- Establish monitoring and maintenance processes to ensure model accuracy over time.
- Ensure that all solutions comply with organizational data security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
- Document workflows, results, and lessons learned for organizational knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on advancements in autonomous vehicles and Physical AI tech Stack
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Electrical/ Electonics & Communication/ Mechanical /Automobile /Mechatronics Engineering discipline or similar
- 2+ years in designing, deploying and testing of autonomous vehicles for industrial applications
- Should have completed at least 2 deployments of Autonomous vehicles for industrial use
- Knowledge of actuators, perception sensors, Robots/Cobots, LIDARS and industrial control devices
- Proficiency in Computer Vision tools: OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow, object detection/recognition.
- Proficiency in Simulation platforms like Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab and MuJoCo
- Experience working with Sensor Fusion: LiDAR + camera + IMU integration (Kalman/Particle filters).
- Experience in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) for navigation and Neural networks for pose estimation & gesture recognition.
- Experience in Edge AI deployment (NVIDIA Jetson, Intel Movidius).
- Strong skills in C++, Python (real-time systems), ROS/ROS2 (Robot Operating System)
- Exposure to Physical AI, Isaac Groot
