Your Role

As an Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and supporting advanced electro mechanical systems. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to design, analyze, and release electrical and electronic solutions for capital equipment and industrial automation domains.

Develop functional requirement specifications for various electro mechanical systems.

• Select electrical and electronics original equipment manufacturer components and materials for power distribution, input output controllers, sensors, cables, printed circuit boards, and related applications.
• Create and release system level electrical engineering drawings and bill of materials using engineering change management processes.
• Work on electrical and electronics engineering computer aided design tools for circuit design and simulation.
• Perform circuit analyses including de rating and stress analysis, power analysis, and logic compatibility analysis.
• Study and recommend corrective or improvement solutions for technical challenges and new products.
• Manage part life cycle and obsolescence activities.
• Conduct and drive design reviews to achieve buy in from all cross functional teams.
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Four to six years of relevant experience in electrical and electronics design.
• Proficient in system level understanding of electro mechanical subsystems such as semiconductor, automotive, or aerospace, as well as power and control systems or industrial automation.
• Skilled in designing sensor interfaces to input output controllers including analog and digital input outputs.
• Experience in electrical and electronic circuit design for low and high voltage applications with interlocks and various circuit analyses.
• Experience in selecting electrical and electronic original equipment manufacturer components.
• Hands on experience in low and high voltage electrical and electronic circuit designs for power and control applications.
• Proficient in using at least one electrical engineering computer aided design tool such as PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, Cadence, or equivalent for circuit design and simulation.
• Familiar with safety standards including Underwriters Laboratories 508, International Electrotechnical Commission 60947, Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International S22, and National Fire Protection Association 79.
• Experience with capital equipment or similar industries such as semiconductor, process industries, medical instrumentation, automotive, or aerospace in subsystem or module design projects.
