Technology Business Development Leader Responsibilities

  • Engage regularly with science and research organizations like NAL and ADA, DRDO labs, public sector undertakings like BEL and HAL, and private industries for technology funding. Investigate and facilitate relationships with strategic customers.
  • Serve as the primary interface with government and private industry to ensure awareness of funding opportunities. Work with internal stakeholders to secure customer decisions and enhance competitive position.
  • Anticipate customer interests and create momentum to pursue new capabilities. Coordinate internal resources to shape customer requirements and objectives for future R&D opportunities.
  • Identify and implement customer contact plans, prioritize funding opportunities, and manage them through the business development process from concept to proposal submission.
  • Develop key external partnerships to complement company capabilities and anticipate future interests. Understand technology trends and uncover opportunities for Honeywell to provide value and differentiate products.

Lead the pursuits using Business Development and Proposal processes. Ensure annual Advanced Technology bookings target for India is met or exceeded.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 17 years of experience in business development or related field
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving targets
  • Strong network of industry contacts and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skill.
