Senior Consultant, DLI Team 2025
Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant in the DLI team, you will contribute significantly to the delivery of research and innovation projects across multiple regions (US, EMEIA, APAC). You will collaborate closely with team members and clients to design and execute research studies, generate insights, and help shape innovative solutions. You will also play a key role in client engagement, problem-solving, and supporting project management activities, with opportunities to grow leadership skills and business development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end delivery of innovation, design thinking and research projects, including designing research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), executing studies, analyzing data, and creating client-ready deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable insights that drive client innovation strategies and business decisions.
Assist in managing project schedules, resources, and communication with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
Contribute to team knowledge-sharing by documenting learnings, developing practice materials, and supporting training initiatives.
Participate actively in client workshops, co-creation sessions, and presentations, helping to facilitate discussions and generate buy-in for innovation approaches.
Support business development efforts by helping to prepare proposals, capability showcases, and outreach to engagement partners.
Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices in design, research, and innovation, applying these insights to project work.
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and providing constructive feedback
Skills & Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in innovation consulting, design research, service design, or a related field.
Knowledge of Innovation management (basics), design thinking, strategic foresight, scenario building & research methods (Qual + Quant) is a must.
Solid experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods and base level data analysis.
Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Visual communication is a must for this role.
Comfortable working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in ambiguous or evolving project environments.
Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, or co-creation sessions is a plus.
Client-facing experience with an ability to build rapport and trust.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Business, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
A portfolio showcasing relevant work and research outcomes is highly desirable.
