Data Engineer

Job Description:

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field with at least 3 years – L30 / 6 years – L35 / 9 years – L40 of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect or related roles
• Experience working on Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) especially services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub
• Proficiency in Talend for complex ETL workflows, Fivetran for automated data pipeline build with understanding of modern ELT patterns and real-time data streaming concepts
• Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures, etc.; Python with experience in data manipulation libraries and PySpark for large-scale data processing
• Understanding of REST API, building and consuming APIs for data ingestion and knowledge of API authentication methods
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for collaborative analytics or Notebooks of similar interactive development environments
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and lineage concepts; data security and compliance requirements (GDPR, CCPA) and knowledge of data warehouse modeling techniques
