Position Summary This role will be a trusted medical partner to healthcare professionals across your assigned area in India. You will lead scientific engagement, share balanced evidence, and bring field insights into medical strategy. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Build and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and external experts. - Share balanced, evidence-based medical information and respond to scientific inquiries in a timely way. - Collect and report medical insights from the field to inform local medical and commercial strategies. - Support medical education activities such as advisory boards, congresses and investigator-initiated studies. - Provide scientific training and support to internal colleagues and external partners. - Ensure timely communication of safety information and follow GSK standards, local codes and regulations. Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Degree in medicine, pharmacy, nursing or a related life sciences field. - At least 2 years of clinical experience or equivalent experience in medical affairs or field-based scientific roles. - Ability to read, interpret and communicate clinical and scientific data clearly. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; regional languages a plus. - Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned area. - Commitment to ethical practice, compliance and professional integrity. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or MSc) in a relevant field. - Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Area Medical Advisor, or similar medical affairs role. - Experience in therapeutic areas such as cardiometabolic, endocrinology, vaccines, infectious diseases or nephrology. - Experience organising or supporting advisory boards, scientific meetings or investigator-initiated studies. - Familiarity with clinical research methods, real world evidence and basic data interpretation. - Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix team. Work model This role is hybrid with significant field-based activity. You will be expected to spend most of your time engaging with healthcare professionals in the field and travel regularly within your assigned area.
