The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you enterprise-scale Azure migrations and create strategies for cloud adoption. As a Manager you motivate and inspire teams, project execution while leveraging technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encourage others to do the same.

• Bachelors Degree
• 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

• Proven experience leading large-scale cloud migration projects
• Minimum 10 years of IT experience with 5 years in Azure roles
• Demonstrating proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Excelling in designing scalable and secure Azure solutions
• Leading and mentoring cloud engineers and developers
• Collaborating with stakeholders to align migration goals
• Applying security practices in identity and network management
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Azure updates
• Relevant Azure certifications highly
  
  

• Lead enterprise-scale Azure migrations encompassing all phases of migrations including discovery, assessment, planning,execution, handover of applications, data, and infrastructure
• Create strategies for cloud adoption, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and modernization.
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, security, and operations teams to align migration goals and timelines.
• Design scalable, secure, cost-effective Azure solutions.
• Define migration processes using Azure Migrate, Site Recovery, and related tools.
• Lead and mentor cloud engineers and developers.
• Guide the redesign or replatforming of .NET applications leveraging Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and other PaaS offerings.
• Align migration goals with business needs through stakeholder collaboration.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform).
• Design and Validate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Monitor resources and optimize performance.
• Apply security best practices in identity, network, and compliance.
• Help to Resolve technical issues during and after migration.
• Keep up-to-date on Azure updates and promote best practices within the team.
  
  

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Azure cloud leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale cloud migration projects (100+ workloads/applications).
• Comprehensive understanding of core Azure services including Azure VMs, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, and more.
• Hands-on experience with Azure migration tools like Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, Database Migration Service.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform).
• Strong background in networking, security, and identity management within the Azure ecosystem.
• Experience implementing DevOps practices, build/release pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD tools.
• Solid scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) highly preferred.
