Job Description

RtBrick is hiring Test Engineers to join our QA and Product Engineering team. We’re looking for both Junior (3–5 years) and Senior (6+ years) level engineers who are passionate about testing advanced network protocols and building automation for robust infrastructure platforms.

You will be deeply involved in validating protocol stacks such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, VPNs (L2, L3, EVPN), and more — while writing automation scripts in Python and using tools like Robot Framework.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feature requirements and network use cases.
• Design detailed test plans, test cases, and create testbed environments tailored to specific protocol requirements.
• Validate system behavior against specs through feature, performance, and scalability testing in asynchronous distributed systems.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, SWIG, and Robot Framework.
• Work with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve software issues.
• Participate in customer support calls and assist in debugging field-reported issues.
• Drive testing improvements and own quality outcomes end to end.
  
  

• Strong understanding and hands-on testing experience in Layer-3 Unicast routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), MPLS signaling protocols (RSVP, LDP), VPNs, VPLS, EVPN, etc.
• Programming/scripting proficiency in Python, with hands-on automation experience.
• Familiarity with SWIG, Robot Framework, and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of networking, with an academic background in EC/IS/CS or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills and self-driven execution ability.
