Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
Work as part of a team managing GMNS Risk exposures across all proprietary markets in the APAC region.
Ability to productively and efficiently work independently and autonomously while reporting to an offshore leader.
Ability to have the flexibility and as required working in multiple time zones delivering timely solutions.
Manage team mailbox and respond to risk related requests and escalations across Merchant and Intermediary portfolio.
Manage and ownership of ongoing risk initiatives and projects across Large Merchant and Intermediary portfolios.
Ability to pull relevant internal merchant data (though SQL, Python and Shell Script) and analyse output to support underwriting and risk assessment processes.
Creation of automated reporting and dashboards to track/manage portfolio.
Develop systematic models and capabilities that will help closely monitor large merchant credit risk events and behaviours.
Ability to read, understand and analyse company financial information that will assist and allow to make timely risk decisions.
Ability to prepare decks, attend and present in meetings relating to risk meetings, risk strategies, process roll outs, training and other risk related initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher education with high concentration in coding and some coverage in a quantitative field, accounting or finance required.
Strong technical skills to perform data evaluation, analytics, and metrics tracking/reporting.
Knowledge of commercial underwriting or credit data ecosystem preferred.
Proven skill sets to statistical tools including SQL, Python and Shell Script and familiar with big data and cloud environments, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint knowledge required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a wider organization/region delivering timely solutions.
Results driven mindset with a proven history prioritizing and delivering against multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with an ability to negotiate and translate data and analytics into business insights and recommendations.
Adaptable people skills, high energy, and a proven team-first mentality.
Adapt at assimilation of technical requirements on product, process & contract to inform problem statements, project plan, key success metric and dependencies, executive communication.
