Roles And Responsibilities

As a CDN Solutions Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Consistent demonstration of exceptional technical ability, covering a wide range of topics related to HTTP/CDN/VOD technologies
• Ability to debug issues using common tools such as traceroute, Curl, MTR, and other diagnostic tools
• Design CDN solutions taking into consideration customers’ requirements, document them, follow-up on their implementation with CDN operational teams and CDN technology vendor(s), and report on progress to stakeholders.
• Becoming a subject matter expert and maintaining the availability of Content Delivery solutions, alongside with the IP / MPLS Backbone and Peering & Transit networks.
• Produce engineering documents for implementation, configuration changes, software upgrades, new CDN components deployments, etc.
• Contribute to CDN roadmap evolution consistent to Airtel’s strategy and business direction.
• CDN Performance Monitoring, Log Analysis and maintaining KPIs as per SLAs
• Should have a workable understanding of video encoding codecs and protocols
• Should have a good understanding of audio/video packaging like HLS, DASH, LL-HLS, etc.
• Should know the manifest and segment structure and tags intimately
• Support for CDN related Operational Issues
• Ensuring High Availability of CDN Applications & Infrastructure
• Contribute to increasing operational efficiency / industrialization
