Job Description

As a Software Engineer (AI Cybersecurity), you will design, develop, and enhance secure, scalable software solutions with a strong focus on AI-driven cybersecurity platforms.

This role combines strong software engineering fundamentals (Java & Python) with growing expertise in Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies to build next-generation intelligent security solutions.

You will leverage GenAI tools and coding co-pilots to improve development productivity while ensuring secure, high-quality, and efficient engineering delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and review high-quality, secure, and scalable code in Java and Python.
• Build and integrate applications using APIs, microservices, messaging systems, and databases.
• Apply secure coding practices, including input validation, authentication, authorization, and secrets management.
• Debug production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with strong focus on automation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and secure deployments.
• Deploy and manage applications using containerization and cloud-native technologies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems in production using observability tools.
• Effectively use GenAI tools and coding co-pilots to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and cybersecurity requirements into engineering solutions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  
  

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
• 2 or more years of work experience.
• Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning concepts.
• Strong programming experience in Java and Python.
• Experience developing, debugging, and testing applications.
• Experience building web/backend systems or microservices.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
• Understanding of GenAI frameworks and technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agents, etc.)
• Hands-on experience using GenAI tools and coding co-pilots in development workflows.
• Experience building or integrating AI/ML-enabled systems or data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to cybersecurity, application security, or vulnerability management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
