Job Description

Were seeking a passionate and analytical UX Researcher to join our team. Youll be instrumental in understanding our users, their workflows, and their challenges in consuming complex media measurement data. This role involves conducting various research studies, synthesizing findings, and translating them into actionable insights that directly inform product design and strategy. Youll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists to advocate for the user and ensure our products truly meet their needs and exceed expectations in usability, clarity, and overall experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a range of UX research studies, including user interviews, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), surveys, ethnographic studies, diary studies, card sorting, tree testing and SUS testing.
  • Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to uncover deep user insights, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product and design teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define research objectives and integrate user insights into the product roadmap.
  • Work with designers to iterate on concepts and validate solutions through rapid testing.
  • Partner with data scientists and engineers to leverage existing analytics and understand technical constraints.
  • Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to foster empathy across teams.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles, accessibility, and data-informed decision-making throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a UX Researcher, ideally in B2B SaaS or data-rich environments.
  • Expertise in diverse UX research methods (qualitative & quantitative).
  • Experience with data visualization, analytics, or media measurement products.
  • Strong grasp of design thinking, UCD, and Agile.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Design, Dev, Data).
  • Proficient with research tools (e.g., user testing, surveys) and familiar with design/product tools (e.g., Figma, Jira).
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to translate complex research into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational background in a relevant field such as Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), B. Des, M. Des, or a related discipline.
  • Background in media, advertising technology, or marketing analytics.
  • Experience working with dashboards, audience data, attribution models, or cross-platform measurement.
  • Understanding of privacy-first design and compliance considerations in measurement products.
