IT Technician (225-630)

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software and hardware, ensuring compatibility with existing network systems.
• Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to detect any issues early.
• Provide technical support across the company, resolving IT-related queries and issues.
• Set up accounts for new users and manage security access levels as required.
• Modify configurations, utilities, software settings, and other system parameters as needed.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks to improve system functionality and reliability.
• Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures to protect company data and resources.
• Maintain detailed records logging repairs, progress, and installations for reference.
• Coordinate with external vendors as needed on system upgrades and procurements.
• Conduct regular tests and system backups for data recovery purposes.
• Assist with identifying potential improvements and upgrades to IT infrastructure.
• Manage resource optimization to maximize system efficiency and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position in the tech industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
• Expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of IT equipment.
• Experience with IT service management and standard repair practices.
• Effective problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
