Overview

Are you a driven, curious, and solution-oriented Teamcenter professional ready to make an impact? We are looking for an Teamcenter Solutions Architect who thrives on exploring new technologies and driving innovation. In this role, you’ll work closely with onsite architects to independently research and develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) for cutting-edge Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently research and develop POCs for new Teamcenter Active Workspace modules and technologies.
  • Collaborate with onsite architects and business teams to translate minimal input into actionable technical solutions.
  • Provide structured, insightful reports on POC outcomes and technical feasibility.
  • Manage and deliver tasks with accountability and minimal supervision.
  • Stay current on Siemens Teamcenter advancements and PLM ecosystem trends.
  • Support integration efforts with CAD, ERP, and enterprise systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Contribute to ideation workshops and technical solutioning sessions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation to support knowledge retention and onboarding.
  • Proactively recommend enhancements and mitigate technical risks.
  • Respond quickly to queries and blockers from the onsite team.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Strong experience with Teamcenter PLM (Part & BOM Management, AWC, Document & Change Management, Workflow design, Access Management).
  • Integration experience with CAD tools (NX preferred) and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).
  • Sound knowledge of Teamcenter server architecture (DB Server, App Server, Web Server, Dispatcher).
  • Hands-on experience with BMIDE for data model and business object configuration.
  • Proficiency with PLMXML configurations and XSLT transformations.
  • Customization of Active Workspace using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teamcenter ITK development (C/C++) for server-side logic and customization.
  • Experience working with Teamcenter SOA APIs for extensions and integrations.
  • Exposure to building and consuming REST or SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter version 2406 or higher.
  • Knowledge of PLM process flows in discrete manufacturing industries.
  • Experience supporting distributed, global teams in an offshore-onshore model.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter X (cloud PLM) is a plus.
  • DevOps Skills:
    • Proficiency in Git for version control and repository management.
    • Ability to configure Jenkins pipelines for automated deployment of Teamcenter customizations.
