Senior Engineer Data Quality

Our Ai/ML engineering team ensures Code and Theory delivers innovative, immersive web experiences that delight our clients and their customers. Working in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary engineering, design, and quality assurance teams, you will build software that solves real-world problems for incredible clients.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and implement testing procedures to validate the integrity and accuracy of data pipelines, databases, and datasets
• Regularly conduct audits on data to identify discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies across systems
• Design, build, and maintain data quality frameworks that track data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Identify the root cause of data quality issues and work with data engineers and system architects to implement long-term solutions
• Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data management policies, standards, and regulations
• Create automated monitoring and alerting systems for real-time data quality checks and issue detection
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes, procedures, and results to ensure transparency and traceability
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data analytics, and product management, to ensure data requirements meet business needs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Proven experience in data quality, data analysis, or data engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases
• Familiarity with data quality tools and technologies such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache NiFi
• Experience with data validation and quality testing frameworks
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
