Job Description

JOB TITLE: Sr. DOT NET Developer – Angular Framework (Promotool)

Years Of Experience-: 8 – 10 Years Of Experience (Sr. Developer)

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of SQL Server databases. Diagnose and resolve issues related to deadlocks, blocking, query performance, and timeouts. Optimize stored procedures, queries, and functions to improve application performance. Design and implement indexing strategies, review execution plans, and fine-tune queries. Collaborate with development teams working on (C#, .NET Core, EF/EF Core, Angular) to ensure efficient database design and usage. Proactively monitor database health, perform performance tuning, and implement corrective actions. Support database security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  
  

Provide guidance and best practices on database access, schema design, and query optimization.

Must Have Skills

8–12 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022 preferred).

Strong expertise in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.

Proven ability to troubleshoot deadlocks, blocking, and database performance bottlenecks.

Deep knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and query optimization.

Experience with SQL Server monitoring tools, DMVs, Extended Events, Profiler.

Strong understanding of Entity Framework / EF Core database interactions.

Hands-on experience with .NET Core Web APIs from a database integration perspective.

Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery best practices.

Good To Have Skills

Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instances, or other cloud-based SQL solutions.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.

Familiarity with Always On Availability Groups, Replication, and other HA/DR solutions.

Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell, SQL Agent jobs, etc.).

Knowledge of Angular front-end integration with APIs and database-backed services.
