Job role – Sr. Performance Tester

Job Description

As a Sr Performance Tester, he/she should be responsible to work with Development, Functional Test Team, business analysts and Technical Leads for Release being implemented. He/She will be responsible for understanding the nonfunctional requirements and create the Performance test strategy. Perform analysis/review the nonfunctional requirements and create the performance Test scripts and Test data identify/prioritize the ones which can be executed based on the business need. Sr. Performance Test lead he/she should be involved in the planning, monitoring, and control of the nonfunctional Test activities and report the Application and capabilities and report the recommendation to technical team and business. Prepare any risk mitigation plans in case there are any delays foreseen. Health care domain knowledge is an added advantage.

Other Responsibilities

  • Is responsible to interact with functional Test Team understand the domain and applications and perform the nonfunctional Testing accordingly.
  • Should understand the application current performance details and application future technology implementation and plan the application performance capabilities after discussion with Architect and business Leads.
  • Should have excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios, and data using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter
  • Manage Testing Scope, SLAs (if any), Performance Metrics, Communication, Risk & Issues etc.,
  • Knowledgeable in performance testing concepts, techniques, and metrics such as response time, throughput, scalability, reliability, and resource utilization
  • Experienced in performance testing various types of applications and systems such as web, mobile, cloud, distributed, and service-oriented architectures
  • Experienced in Reports Performance Testing
  • Conduct performance testing research and keep up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and tools in the performance testing domain

Skill set required

  • 8-12 years of Experience in Performance Testing extensively worked on Agile Methodology.
  • Familiar with NeoLoad, LoadRunner, JMeter
  • Familiar with scripting languages such as Java, SQL, XML, and scripting languages
  • Should have knowledge in performance Testing validation on healthcare Reports
  • Added advantage healthcare concepts and FACETS or QNxt products
  • To identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the nonfunctional requirements document.
  • Able to analyze and interpret performance test data and graphs, and communicate the findings and recommendations effectively
  • Understand Software Test Life Cycle and associated Processes
  • Generate Performance Test Reports for specific test cycles.
  • Interact with Testing Team and other Stakeholders when required
  • Interact with customers /SME’s/Stakeholders for Demo/Presentation as needed.
  • Perform the review of the performance defects and ensure that the proper defect guidelines are followed as agreed upon with the client.
  • Should have excellent communication skills (Speaking/Writing/Presentation)
