The Payments AI Integration Specialist will drive the adoption of AI, automation, and advanced analytics across payment operations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making.

About the role

This role sits at the intersection of payments, financial data, and transformation, focusing on prompting and integrating AI-driven analytic solutions into existing workflows, optimizing analytics, and managing organizational change to ensure successful adoption across global teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Analytics & Strategy

• Identify and implement AI/automation across payment operations (e.g., anomaly detection, chargeback handling, cost optimization) 

• Integrate AI solutions into transaction processing, reporting, and exception management workflows 

• Lead change management initiatives, including stakeholder alignment, training, and adoption strategies

• Collaborate with data, technology, and business teams to translate payment challenges into AI-driven solutions 

• onitor performance and continuously optimize AI models, processes, and business outcomes

• Lead analytics using Genny or Coco through effective prompting 

Operational Excellence

• Partner with respective team(s) to build, design, maintain, and automated dashboards and reporting

Stakeholder Management

• Working collaboratively across multiple sets of stakeholders—internal (Accounting, Retail Systems, D&A groups, etc.) and external (Issuers, Payment Brands, Processors, etc.)

• Articulate work results to management

Job Requirements

Education & Relevant Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial services, with exposure to AI/ML implementations, process automation, analytics, and business transformation or change management initiatives

Knowledge

• Payment processing knowledge is preferred

• Strong analytics skillset

• AI use cases in payments (fraud detection, cost optimization, customer insights)

• Enterprise reporting systems, relational analytics (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server etc.)

• Business intelligence & reporting (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)

• Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
