Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. As a Staff Nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care. You will be required to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans to meet the various needs of patients. The successful applicant will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and contribute to the improvement of healthcare services. Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments to patients in accordance with doctor’s orders.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of medical equipment for patient care.
  • Assess patient health status and respond to changes in a timely manner.
  • Implement infection control policies to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
  • Assist in patient discharge planning and provide follow-up care instructions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adheres to healthcare policies.
  • Participate in continuous education and professional development activities.
  • Provide pre and post-operative nursing care to surgical patients.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid nursing license and accreditation from a recognized nursing board.
  • Minimum of a diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of experience in a clinical nursing role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stressful situations.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records software and other medical applications.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical nursing practice.
