We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining fiscal health of the organization. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee financial procedures, analyze complex financial data, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes. You will also collaborate with various departments to improve processes and provide guidance on financial matters. Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and oversee the accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Liaise with auditors and assist in conducting internal and external audits.
• Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures for accounting operations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation calculations.
• Coordinate with finance teams to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closures.
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff to enhance team performance.
• Review and approve expense reports and ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Support tax filing processes, including preparation of necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles is essential.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel needed.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and guidance.
