Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures tailored for the printing and packaging industry.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure that quality concerns are promptly addressed and resolved.
• Document and report any non-conformities or defects and suggest remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
• Test products at various stages of production to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
• Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretations to production management.
• Train production staff in quality management techniques and best practices to improve output.
• Lead initiatives to improve product quality and operational efficiency through innovative quality procedures.
• Monitor and review internal and external quality audit processes and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Manage the calibration and maintenance of all quality control equipment used in the inspections.
• Ensure all quality control records and documentation are accurate and maintained as per company protocol.
• Remain updated with latest quality control methodologies and technologies relevant to the industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quality management, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in quality control within printing or packaging sectors.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant industry regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team within high-pressure environments.
• Proficiency in using quality management software systems and familiar with relevant testing equipment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with production staff and management.
