Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic tech team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's technology systems and networks. You will be the primary point of contact for resolving IT-related issues, providing end-user training, and supporting ongoing corporate technology projects. The ideal candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach, ensuring that our employees and systems function efficiently. As an IT Support Specialist, you will also collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance and optimize our IT infrastructure, contributing to strategic initiatives that drive organizational success.


Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users across all departments.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on different types of devices.
  • Manage user accounts, including setup, modification, and deactivation processes.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation and troubleshoot any disruptions.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of hardware, software, and other IT assets.
  • Assist in the implementation and documentation of new IT solutions and services.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and software maintenance services.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions to educate staff on IT systems usage and policies.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of company information through adherence to protocols.
  • Respond to IT support tickets in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of user manuals and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and IT infrastructure components.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and support.
