Job Description

The Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees the daily operations and management of the food and drink departments within a hospitality environment. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality service and maintaining customer satisfaction. The F&B Supervisor coordinates staff activities, ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, and is instrumental in achieving sales targets. This position requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced setting. You will act as a liaison between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless service delivery. Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of all food and beverage activities within the establishment.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure optimal productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies to prevent shortages and excesses.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in developing and overseeing budgetary and financial objectives.
  • Plan and implement promotional activities and events to boost sales and visibility.
  • Monitor staff performance and conduct regular performance appraisals.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales, costs, and customer feedback to management.
  • Ensure the dining environment is clean, well-organized, and welcoming to guests.
  • Implement strategies to improve service quality and customer experience.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role in F&B.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage service principles and practices.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer grievances effectively.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a hospitality environment.
  • Degree or diploma in hospitality management or related field preferred.
