The Civil Site Engineer must also ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities to assure adherence to engineering designs and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers to develop detailed project plans and timelines.
• Provide technical advice and resolve issues arising during construction phases.
• Ensure projects are executed within the allotted budget and predetermined timeframe.
• Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to stakeholders and management.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors on design changes and adjustments.
• Conduct frequent inspections to ensure workmanship quality and safety standards.
• Manage the selection and acquisition of construction materials and equipment.
• Test materials and installations to ensure compliance with regulations and quality assurance.
• Maintain accurate records of expenditures, workforce hours, and project milestones.
• Audit and ensure all work complies with relevant building and safety codes.
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved to facilitate smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills with proven track records.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Ability to interpret construction contracts, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as project needs require.
