Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Identify and document test requirements based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve test processes.
• Analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks and tools.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality test scripts.
• Provide clear and concise test plans and reports to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in automation testing.
• Facilitate the integration of automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Assist in manual testing efforts when automated testing is not feasible.
• Participate in planning and estimation sessions for testing activities.
• Conduct training and mentorship for junior team members in test automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of three years experience in automation testing roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or similar.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex software issues independently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
