Job Description

The Vendor Coordinator position is a vital role that ensures smooth and efficient communication and operations between a company and its vendors. This position is ideally suited for an individual with excellent organizational skills and a knack for negotiation. The Vendor Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating supplier relationships, overseeing vendor performance, and handling the day-to-day interactions that support successful project completion and company operations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain effective working relationships with all vendors and suppliers.
  • Manage correspondence and communication between vendors and internal teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance on a regular basis, ensuring compliance.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts to ensure profitable outcomes and compliance.
  • Assess vendor needs and help identify potential business opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct vendor audits and reporting, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Liaise with procurement teams to facilitate smooth operations and resolution of issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of vendor agreements, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Support onboarding processes for new vendors, providing guidance and documentation.
  • Ensure vendors comply with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on vendor-related projects and initiatives.
  • Streamline vendor management processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in vendor coordination or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and vendor management software tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of quality standards and compliance regulations in vendor management.
