As a Videographer, you will have the opportunity to capture the world through your lens, creating engaging and visually compelling video content. You are expected to bring creativity, technical skill, and artistic vision to each project, whether it's a corporate film, a documentary, a promotional video, or an event shoot. You will collaborate closely with other creative team members, including directors, producers, and editors, to ensure the final product aligns with the client's vision and objectives. Your role is crucial in storytelling and in translating complex ideas into accessible, audience-friendly formats. With strong communication skills and an eye for detail, you will be a key player in delivering high-quality video products that resonate with audiences and fulfill the strategic goals of the projects you work on.

Responsibilities

• Operate video cameras, both on location and in the studio, for shoots.
• Set up lighting, audio, and camera equipment for optimal video quality.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to meet project requirements.
• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product.
• Ensure equipment is in good working condition and handle repairs when necessary.
• Scout and assess locations for the suitability of video shoots.
• Plan and manage schedules, shoot lists, and filming timelines efficiently.
• Engage in storyboarding and conceptualizing video ideas with creative teams.
• Maintain an organized post-production workflow to meet delivery deadlines.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and technology.
• Manage video archives and libraries for easy retrieval and reuse of footage.
• Ensure that video content aligns with brand guidelines and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Broadcasting, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut.
• Strong understanding of digital cinematography and lighting techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a creative problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in managing a full-cycle video production from concept to delivery.
