Job Description

The Technical Project Manager plays a crucial role in the planning, execution, and oversight of technology-driven projects within an organization. This position requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects and the management principles necessary to lead projects successfully. The Technical Project Manager coordinates between different departments, ensures project goals align with business objectives, and resolves any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a problem-solving mindset are essential for this role. The individual in this position often serves as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring both parties are aligned in terms of expectations and objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans effectively.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for project execution.
  • Conduct risk management analysis to minimize project risks consistently.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Prepare clear and concise project documentation and reports for stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as required.
  • Facilitate change management processes and communicate impacts efficiently.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage project budget considerations to ensure project stays on track financially.
  • Organize and lead regular project status and stakeholder meetings.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within projects.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all project communication needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or in similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile would be advantageous.
