Job Description

The Sales Operations Assistant is a crucial member of the sales team, providing vital support and contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the sales department. This role involves assisting in the coordination and administration of various sales operations tasks, ensuring accurate data management, and supporting sales professionals with their daily operational needs. The Sales Operations Assistant plays a key part in the development and execution of sales strategies by maintaining sales reports, managing customer and product data, and improving the sales processes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist sales team with daily administrative tasks and sales operations projects.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics of internal sales meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the customer relationship management system.
  • Provide support for sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute regular sales and customer reports to management.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Manage communication between sales, marketing, and other departments to streamline processes.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sales requirements are met.
  • Assist in developing training materials and documentation for sales team members.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and handle order processing as needed.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales support or operations roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
