As a Mechanical/Technical Draftsman specializing in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and Civil projects, you will play an integral role in the transformation of engineering designs and concepts into precise and functional technical drawings. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers to revise, update, and correct project designs as necessary.
• Ensure all technical drawings comply with industry and codified standards.
• Prepare layouts and specifications for civil and MEP building components.
• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings for fabrication and construction purposes.
• Support various teams in the interpretation of complex technical designs and documents.
• Conduct site visits to gather necessary data and ensure design feasibility.
• Liaise with project managers to adjust designs and accommodate modifications.
• Maintain and organize historical drawing archives and digital files systematically.
• Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Review and assess project specifications, tender documents, and engineering information.
• Participate in project meetings to provide technical insights and drafting expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a draftsman in MEP and Civil domains, ideally over three years.
• In-depth knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, and similar tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Good communication skills to effectively liaise with engineers and project managers.
